We partnered with Caltech to create a multi-channel campaign celebrating Break Through, the university’s $3.4 billion fundraising initiative supporting transformative research and education. The work included a donor publication, social media campaign, campus banners, and a presentation deck. Each piece was designed to honor major supporters and inspire new ones through a cohesive, brand-aligned system.

THE CHALLENGE

Caltech’s Advancement Office wanted a clear and unified way to share the success of Break Through while recognizing both donors and recipients. The challenge was to translate a complex, multi-year effort into stories that felt personal, authentic, and celebratory while maintaining a consistent visual identity across channels.

OUR APPROACH

We started by interviewing donors and fund recipients to capture genuine voices and real impact. Those stories shaped the creative direction and design, which carried through print, digital, and environmental applications. Every element was crafted to align with the Caltech brand while allowing enough flexibility to evolve for future use.

THE SOLUTION

The final campaign brought everything together: a bold donor publication, social media graphics, campus banners, and a presentation deck for major-gift outreach. Together, these pieces created a unified visual story that celebrated achievement, built momentum, and strengthened the sense of community among Caltech’s supporters.
